- How long do I have to wait before the sofa is fully dry?
– Rule of thumb is 6 hours. However some fabric material absorbs water more readily, so 8-10 hours is required. This is especially so if the ventilation around the sofa is poor, or when the weather is humid, rainy or cloudy.
- Are you able to remove blood stains and water marks?
– SGcleanXpert always strives to remove any stains present in our clients’ fabric sofas as much as possible. However we cannot guarantee that all stains can be completely removed.
- My pet/child just urinated on my sofa. What should I do?
– Wipe away the liquid as soon as possible using a clean micro fiber cloth. Just dab the affected area. Do not rub or scrub it because this might worsen the condition. – Our normal working hours are 9.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Saturday. However if urgent cleaning is required, we can arrange for special cleaning on Sunday or public holidays.
- Does UV-C light kill dust mites?
– The answer is yes and no. Scientific research shows that dust mites can only be eliminated if they are exposed directly to UV-C radiation at very short distances and with an exposure time of more than 60 minutes. In reality, this is not practical with any UV-C emission cleaning machine. To achieve this effect, the UV-C emission cleaning machine must be stationary at one spot for 60 minutes, followed by the next spot for another 60 minutes and so on.
