Granites can easily last for 10 to 15 years but if carefully cared for, it might last even longer. When you install granite, you are looking at long term because of its price tag. Although it requires very little maintenance, it is still recommended to reapply the sealant every 2 to 4 years to maintain its shine. If the granite flooring is installed in a space with high traffic, over time, it will turn dull and get covered with scratches.
